Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 1: Bubbly Basin available now on Nintendo Switch 2

The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass has officially begun with the release of Part 1: Bubbly Basin, introducing a brand-new underwater town packed with new adventures, Pokémon, furniture, outfits and building options for Nintendo Switch 2 players. The paid DLC expands the cozy life simulation with buoyant blocks for floating underwater structures, Generate-specialty Pokémon that power machines, watermelon farming, smoothie making, a mysterious deep-sea area to explore and the ability to build a Sharpedo submarine.

The launch also coincides with the free Version 2.0.0 update, which adds the Dive move for all players, allowing underwater exploration, swimming alongside Water-type Pokémon and underwater construction after meeting Manaphy and completing the required in-game objectives. Players must own the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass and install Version 2.0.0 to access Bubbly Basin, while expansion pass owners also receive exclusive dynamic Ditto print recipes and can claim 30 rare Pokémetal ingots through a Mystery Gift serial code if purchased by Aug. 31, 2027.
