Pokémon GO Twilight Trails season brings Paldean debuts, new Mega Evolutions and Dynamax Pokémon

Pokémon GO’s Twilight Trails season will run from Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. through Dec. 1, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time, introducing new Pokémon, Mega Evolutions and Max Battles alongside seasonal events and progression rewards. Maschiff, Mabosstiff and additional Pokémon originally discovered in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will debut during the season, while Mega Staraptor, Mega Chandelure and more will expand the game’s Mega Evolution lineup. Max Battles will also add Dynamax Rhyhorn, Dynamax Sneasel and Dynamax Sizzlipede, with Dynamax Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf set to appear during a dedicated Max Battle Day.

Twilight Trails will feature Community Day Classic on Sept. 12, Community Day on Oct. 10 and another Community Day on Nov. 21, while the limited-time GO Pass will offer progression rewards through Pass Tasks, with a paid GO Pass Deluxe providing upgraded rewards and faster progression. Higher GO Pass milestones can unlock bonuses including additional Candy from trades, guaranteed Candy XL for eligible Trainers, expanded Gift limits, longer Daily Adventure Incense duration and increased XP and Stardust from hatching Eggs. Seasonal Research Breakthrough encounters and rotating Egg pools will also be available, including Elekid, Magby and Azurill, with lucky Trainers having a chance to find their Shiny variants.
