Pokémon GO’s September 2026 Community Day Classic will feature Gible on Sept. 12 from 2-5 p.m. local time, with Trainers able to encounter the Land Shark Pokémon more frequently in the wild and potentially find Shiny Gible or Gible with a Special Background. Evolving Gabite during the event and through 9 p.m. local time will reward a Garchomp that knows Earth Power, while event bonuses include 3× XP for catching Pokémon, extended Incense and Lure Module durations and increased Gible encounters at PokéStops with active Lure Modules. Trainers can also complete a Gible-themed Collection Challenge for Garchomp Mega Energy, encounter Gible through Field Research and access paid Special Research for additional rewards.
