Pokémon HOME update 4.1.0 adds FireRed and LeafGreen support and expands storage

Pokémon HOME version 4.1.0 is now available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, adding compatibility with Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version on Nintendo Switch alongside several other updates. The Oct. 6 update allows players to connect Pokémon HOME with the two Kanto games, while Premium Plan subscribers can now store up to 9,000 Pokémon, an increase from the previous 6,000 without a change to the subscription price. Pokémon HOME also now supports Pokémon caught in a GO Safari Ball in Pokémon GO, although the ball changes to a Strange Ball when the Pokémon is transferred to Pokémon HOME, and new Research Tasks have been added for additional games. The update also includes various fixes and improvements, with the software update required to access Pokémon HOME’s internet features.
