Pokémon GO has introduced several gameplay and quality-of-life improvements, including a major change to how Trainers collect Zygarde Cells from Routes. Zygarde Cells found during a Route will now automatically be awarded when the Route is completed, eliminating the need to tap them on the map, although the chance of finding a Cell remains unchanged. The update also combines the Compass and Weather buttons into a dynamic icon that switches between functions based on player actions, while new map spacing reduces overlap between wild Pokémon, Gyms, Power Spots and PokéStops. Trainers will now receive a confirmation warning before transferring Pokémon with maxed-out stats, with bulk transfers also showing the exact number of 100% Pokémon selected. Community Ambassador meetup attendees can additionally check in directly through the in-game map or a web browser by selecting the purple Meetup pin and choosing the check-in option, which becomes available 15 minutes before the meetup begins.
