Dive into a Celebration of Water-Type Pokémon
Water-type Pokémon are taking the Pokémon world by storm throughout the month of June.
Brace yourself for a flood of Water-type Pokémon with exciting events and opportunities to learn more about aquatic Pokémon in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, Beyond the Pokédex, new Pokémon Trading Card Game products, Pokémon Center products, and so much more. Kick off the party with a fun video featuring several of your favorite Water-type Pokémon, including Palafin, Greninja, Piplup, and Quaxly:
Now that we’re all in the right frame of mind, here are some of products and events that will be making a splash during this monthlong celebration of Water-type Pokémon:
Pokémon Trading Card Game Live
It’s the First Anniversary Summer Bash, and Water-type Pokémon are swimming their way through Pokémon Trading Card Game Live in a variety of ways during the month of June. Festivities kick off June 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, with Palafin Ranked Ladder rewards and daily quests themed around Water-type Pokémon, followed by an anniversary reward pop-up on June 6, 2024. Be sure to check back every Thursday through July 4, 2024, for more rewards.
Check out the Pokémon TCG: Palafin ex Box featuring Palafin in its Hero Form, available on June 21, 2024. Also, the Pokémon TCG: Vibrant Paldea Mini Tin featuring Palafin (and Pachirisu) will be available on June 7, 2024.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
Keep an eye out for mass outbreaks of Horsea, Lotad, and Finizen taking place from June 6 to June 9, 2024. Swampert will also reappear in 7-star Tera Raid Battles from June 7 to June 9, 2024.
No summer pool party is complete without the new Pokémon Lazy Summer collection, which includes fun, retro-style original illustrations by artist James Turner. Hitch a ride with Water-type Pokémon floats including Piplup, Lapras, and Magikarp. Dress for the relaxing summer of your dreams with fetching fits. And, of course, there are opportunities to pick your new Water-type Pokémon plush bestie.
Add Dot’s Quaxly from Pokémon Horizons: The Series to your team in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet with a special distribution taking place through November 30, 2024. Check out Dot and Quaxly in action with Part 2 of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, now available on Netflix. And don’t miss out on curated episodes of Pokémon the Series—featuring some of Ash and Pikachu’s favorite moments with Water-type Pokémon—streaming on Twitch every Tuesday in June, starting on June 4, 2024.
