The main series of Pokemon games have passed 200 million units sold worldwide. This impressive figure excludes spin-off sales and is as of February 29, 2016 – so the recent Virtual Console releases of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow are also taken into account. Including the spin-off games, the Pokemon franchise has passed a whopping 279 million units to date. That’s a lot of Pokemon!
