Nintendo has announced when Pokemon fans will be able to get their hands on the Pokemon GO Plus. During today’s Pokemon GO developer Q&A, it was confirmed that the device is scheduled to release sometime in July for $34.99. You’ll be able to purchase it online and at certain retailers. Pokemon GO Plus connects to a smartphone through Bluetooth and notifies the player about events in the game, such as the appearance of nearby Pokemon via an LED and vibration. A release date for the Pokemon GO app has yet to be announced, but it is currently in beta testing.

It features a button that allows you to catch Pokemon and collect items such as Poke Balls, Berries and Pokemon Eggs at set PokeStop locations without having to look at your smart phone. Pretty convenient 🙂
