Pokemon GO player quits his job to catch ’em all

A die-hard Pokemon fan in New Zealand has quit his job to focus primarily on Pokemon GO. Tom Currie worked as a barista and bartender for quite some time, but he’s decided to resign so that he may embark on a quest in an attempt to catch ’em all. “I get to walk around and explore towns I’ve never been to,” Currie told BBC. “When you and your friends have to physically go for a walk or run to catch a rare Pokemon in the area and you all catch it, that is definitely a highlight.” So far Currie has caught 91 Pokemon. When he catches all of the original 151, he plans on going back to work.
