July was a huge month for the App Store. Thanks to a number of games, particularly Pokemon GO, Apple’s digital distribution platform experienced the highest-ever monthly billings and money paid to developers last month. That’s according to Apple CEO Tim Cook, who is also saying App Store developers have now earned more than $50 billion. Pokemon GO launched in the App Store on July 6 and has been downloaded by millions of iOS users across the globe.
