Pokemon TCG Online has been updated to version 2.38, implementing a number of changes to several different elements in the game. Among the notable tweaks are adding support for the XY—Steam Siege expansion and renaming the Tournaments feature to Events. Read on below for a complete list of what’s included in the latest patch:
General
- Support added for the XY—Steam Siege expansion, bringing over 110 more cards to the game. XY—Steam Siege cards can be used in Versus Mode immediately and in tournaments beginning August 19th.
Shop
- Code cards found in physical XY—Steam Siege booster packs and theme decks can be redeemed in the Shop to unlock digital booster packs and theme decks from the same expansion.
- Code cards found in physical XY—Steam Siege Elite Trainer Boxes can be redeemed in the Shop to unlock a digital deck box and card sleeves.
Events
- The Tournaments feature has been renamed Events. 8-person On-Demand Tournaments continue to be available, and future game updates will expand the type of activities available in this game mode.
Gameplay
- After all selections are made during a deck or discard pile search, cards that were not selected but could be valid selections are now indicated by a less intense highlight.
- Improved the functionality for changing selections during a deck or discard pile search.
