The 2016 Pokemon World Championships will be live streamed this weekend

Those who won’t be attending this year’s Pokemon World Championships will still be able to catch up on all the action in real time. A live stream of the upcoming event will be available on all three days, from August 19 to August 21. The 2016 Worlds is anticipating participants from over 35 countries that will compete for the crown of becoming the next Pokemon TCG, Video Game or Pokken Tournament World Champion – in addition to a piece of the combined prize pool of more than $500,000. The 2016 Pokemon World Championships will be held in San Francisco, California. Due to limited venue capacity and overwhelming demand, this year’s event will not be open to the general public.
