The 2016 Pokemon World Championships has officially kicked off in San Francisco, California. It will run until August 21, featuring Pokemon players from over 35 countries competing to be crowned the next Pokemon TCG, Video Game or Pokken Tournament World Champion – in addition for a piece of the combined prize pool of more than $500,000.
