The popularity of Pokemon GO is being utilized in a creative way by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). A digital guide with Pokemon GO tips has been created by Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine to introduce players to nature while they’re searching for Pokemon in the game. “Pokémon GO is a cultural phenomenon, and we’re embracing it,” said Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine art director Nathan Adams in a statement to KVUE. “This new section of our app features an overview of the game, Pokémon vocabulary and tips. We’re also spotlighting the PokéStops, Gyms and rare Pokémon found in our Texas State Parks. We’ll continue to add to the app in the coming weeks.”
