A new Pokemon-themed Nintendo 2DS is headed to Japan later this year. Featuring silhouettes of Pikachu and Pokemon Sun and Moon starters Rowlet, Litten and Popplio, the light blue special-edition system will be available in the region on December 8 for 9,800 yen in limited quantities. It does not come with a copy of either game. Nintendo has yet to announce whether this new 2DS design will be released in the West, but stay tuned for any updates.

You’re just saying that cuz Snorlax isn’t on it 😛 I get what you’re saying though – there’s really no need to get it if you have any other 3DS model. But it’s perfect for someone who’s new to 3DS and wants a budget one. I recently recommended it to a 3DS newcomer and he thought it was a great idea so he bought it 🙂
