Halloween is almost here and Pokemon GO will be celebrating by offering “way more” Candies and spooky Pokemon to catch between October 26 and November 1. Every Pokemon you catch during this period will award six Candies – which is twice the normal amount. Professor Willow will give you two Candies instead of one for every Pokemon you transfer to him. Your Buddy Pokemon will also award Candy four times faster than they normally do, and you’ll get twice the Candy when you hatch Eggs. In addition, several spooky Pokemon will be “much more common” leading up to Halloween – including Zubat, Golbat, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Drowzee and Hypno.
