The special demo version of Pokemon Sun and Moon has been out for a week on Nintendo 3DS. It gives players a chance to catch an early glimpse of Alola and some of the Pokemon and characters within the new region. The following is a list of some quick impressions based on the demo:
- Old men are very mysterious
- Alola is lively and welcoming
- Professor Kukui is totally rad
- Alolan residents are pretty friendly
- Battles are more exciting and engaging
- Ash-Greninja feels like a Mega Evolution
- Riding Tauros via the new Poké Ride feature makes me feel powerful
- There’s a lot of Machamp and Slowpoke that are always out and about
- Pokemon Sun and Moon will be among the best-looking games on 3DS
- Pokemon Sun and Moon might be the most accessible of any previous Pokemon game
