Nintendo Switch rumored to be getting a different version of Pokemon Sun and Moon called Pokemon Stars

Pokemon Sun and Moon have just launched for Nintendo 3DS, but it looks like a different version of the games is already in the works. According to “multiple sources,” the unannounced project is called Pokemon Stars and is heading to Nintendo Switch. It is reportedly being developed by Game Freak. “As you might expect, Pokémon Stars is being developed by the Sun and Moon team at Game Freak, the studio behind all main Pokémon games since the series’ Game Boy beginnings,” writes Eurogamer deputy editor Tom Phillips. “Pokémon will be tradable between Sun/Moon and Stars via the Pokémon Bank app. We’ve also heard suggestion there will be more creatures to collect in the Switch version, although not all of our sources could confirm this.” It was also recently reported that a Pokemon game will be released on Nintendo Switch during its first year on the market.
