Although the majority of Pokemon Sun and Moon can only be played in 2D, stereoscopic 3D is supported in certain areas such as the new Poké Finder feature – which allows you to take pictures of Pokémon you find throughout the Alola region. Unlike Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, battles do not support the 3D effect in Pokemon Sun and Moon. The games are now available in stores and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS.
