Poké Transporter transfers from Virtual Console can only be sent to Pokemon Sun and Moon

If you use Poké Transporter to move Pokémon from the Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Blue or Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, they can only be sent to Pokémon Sun and Moon. The Pokemon Company has confirmed that they can’t be sent to Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. In addition, Pokémon moved to Pokémon Bank using Poké Transporter can’t be returned to the Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, or to Pokémon Black 2, White 2, Black Version, or White Version. As per usual, you can’t deposit Pokémon holding items into Pokémon Bank. If you try to deposit a Pokémon with a held item, that item will be sent back to the original game. Pokemon Bank is getting an update in January to support the most recent releases, Pokemon Sun and Moon.
