If you attended the theatrical showing of the 20th Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, on November 5 or 6, you likely received a card with a QR code that grants you a very special Pokémon for your copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon. By scanning the QR code in your copy of the game, you unlock an in-game event that will lead you to a special Pikachu wearing the hat that Ash wears in the film. To get Pikachu wearing its Trainer’s Cap for your Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game:
- Open QR Scanner from the menu.
- Scan the QR code.
- Visit Pikachu Valley on Akala Island (near Route 4).
- A delivery person will be waiting for you.
- Talk with the delivery person, and he will give you the Pikachu wearing its Trainer’s Cap.
- Be sure to save your game!
