Pokemon Sun and Moon players who took part in the first global mission didn’t exactly come close to catching 100 million Pokemon. Participants managed to get only 16,423,231 Pokemon out of the total sum needed to successfully complete the challenge. The prize for reaching the massive number would have been a whopping 1,000 Festival Coins, but those who participated are still getting the guaranteed consolation prize of 100 Festival Coins. In addition, those who registered their Game Sync ID at the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) will earn double the Festival Coins for this and future global missions.
