Pokemon games are coming to Nintendo Switch, but probably not at launch. That’s according to Game Freak producer Junichi Masuda, who is suggesting that his team will wait until the upcoming console releases. “About Nintendo Switch, we have to wait until the console launches, we have to see how players react to it, how they play it, how they make use of the capabilities related with that connectivity, which is so important for us,” Masuda said in a recent interview. “From that point, we’ll have the keys needed to think about a new form of Pokémon for Nintendo Switch.” He also added that he finds it interesting to see how children have been utilizing the connectivity features of Pokemon Sun and Moon. “It’s really interesting to see people playing with the 3DS, seeing how children enjoy the connectivity and the union it creates, even how they play together at home just to try modes like the new Battle Royale.”
