Pokemon GO‘s load screen has been updated yet again for the imminent New Year. This time, it features a male Trainer and five Pokemon that originally appeared in the Johto region – Elekid, Cleffa, Pichu, Igglybuff and Togepi. All of the on-screen characters are gazing at the night sky, where an onslaught of fireworks were unleashed to commemorate the beginning of 2017. Multiple Japanese developers recently selected Pokemon GO as their favorite game of 2016.
