The first patch for Pokemon Sun and Moon is now live, fixes issues with Rocky Helmet, Memento and Parting Shot

The first patch for Pokemon Sun and Moon is now available for download via the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. Update version 1.1 requires about 296 blocks of free space and implements several adjustments to improve the overall gaming experience. Release notes for the new patch are as follows:

  • Release date: January 10th (North America) / January 11th (Europe, Japan)
  • File size: 296blocks / 37MB (Pokémon Sun) – 296 blocks / 37MB (Pokémon Moon)
  • Adjustments have been made to make for a more fun gaming experience. To be completed if necessary.
  • Notes: this update should fix the issue with the Rocky Helmet item and the Memento and Parting Shot moves (click here for more details), but also the one where a Pokémon would not learn a move when evolving when it should do so.
