Version 1.1 of Pokémon Sun and Moon is now available. The patch requires 296 blocks of free space (37 MB) for the download. This update is required to play online – you will receive a message in your game if you attempt to go online before updating. If you are currently playing Pokémon Sun or Moon and would like to update it, save and close the game. When you return to your game, you will be prompted to update it. An Internet connection is required to update your game. Note that once version 1.1 has been installed, any Battle Videos saved prior to the update cannot be played or shared. Version 1.1 fixes include the following:
• Fixed the moves Memento and Parting Shot to function properly.
• Fixed the win/lose conditions when using the Rocky Helmet during battles.
• Fixed the issue where some of the Pokémon were not learning moves they were supposed to when evolving.
• Other adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.
