Transfer Solrock or Lunatone to Pokemon Sun or Moon to unlock an extra cutscene

The recent update to Pokémon Bank is brimming with surprises. If you use the service to transfer Solrock or Lunatone to Pokemon Sun or Moon, respectively, you will unlock an extra cutscene. To see how this works for yourself, follow the steps below in order:

1. Transfer Solrock to Pokemon Sun or Lunatone to Pokemon Moon.
2. Put Solrock/Lunatone in your party.
3. Fly to Ruins of Abundance on Ula’ula Island.
4. Head south to enter Haina Desert.
5. Head to the western exit, then immediately back east (where you came from).
6. Head to the southern exit.
7. Keep heading south until you see the old man with a red shirt.
8. Speak to him for an interesting cutscene!

Note: You may also want to use repel so that you don’t randomly encounter Pokemon.
