Did You Know Gaming features none other than Pokemon mascot Pikachu

With the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon, the folks at Did You Know Gaming decided to a look at some facts, secrets, Easter eggs and history of Pikachu. Pikachu was designed by Game Freak’s Atsuko Nishida and illustrated by Ken Sugimori. The Pokemon mascot’s first appearance was in Pokemon Red and Blue for the original Game Boy. Pikachu has received a lot of public attention and has appeared on airplanes, as a balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and even as an official representative for Japan’s soccer team during the 2014 World Cup.
