Pokémon fan Filipe Kiss has created his own version of the match-two puzzle game 2048. It’s called Pokémon 2048 and – as implied by its name – features Pokémon instead of numbers. The goal is to combine the Pokémon on display to get Mewtwo. You play by using your arrow keys to move the tiles; when two tiles with the same Pokémon touch, they merge into one. There’s another, purely gen 1 version out there to be found as well. If you ask me, that one also comes with mons in a more intuitive by-power order. I’m not really sure how why e.g. this version has Ivysaur, Wartortle and Charmander (not Charmeleon?) as the bottom three pokemon, followed by… Pidgey of all things?

Awesome, thanks for sharing! Just tried that one and it seems a lot harder. Only one Ninetales randomly popped up and cost me the game
