Pokémon GO reaches 650 million downloads worldwide

Pokémon GO has officially been downloaded more than 650 million times across the globe. Niantic announced this impressive figure during Google Developer Day at the 2017 Game Developers Conference, during which the developer also revealed that players have collectively walked approximately 8.7 billion kilometers (5.4 billion miles). Speaking at the event, Niantic chief technology officer Phil Keslin assured fans that the company plans to keep Pokémon GO fresh via regular content updates.
