Pokémon GO player dies from heart attack after catching Lapras

A 67-year-old Pokémon GO player suffered a fatal heart attack moments after catching a couple Pokemon. According to the deceased’s wife, her husband would regularly visit the site to catch Pokemon ever since the launch of the game. GPS readings on his smartphone showed that he managed to capture Lapras and a Granbull before the heart attack was triggered. He was considered an avid player, having captured more than 200 kinds of Pokemon with a player level of 28.

  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 😥 It’s bad enough that Lapras had to be the black sheep in the Pokémon family. And the one time someone has respect for that creature and has finally caught one died of a heart attack! Rip. Granddad. May you catch more Pokemon in the skies!
