The 2017 Pokémon Oceania International Championships are officially underway at the Melbourne Park Function Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Taking place between March 10 and 12, this major event gathers Pokémon trading card game (TCG) and video game players from across the globe for intense battles. A large amount of Championship Points are on the line as players continue to compete for invitations to the Pokémon World Championships next August. Pokémon TCG players are competing using the Standard format, including cards from the upcoming Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon expansion. Meanwhile, Pokémon video game players are continuing to develop strategies and battle using the Pokémon Sun and Moon games.
