It looks like the Nintendo Switch is off to a great start, with widespread sellouts happening across the globe. Nintendo’s latest console has the potential to even surpass the Wii in terms of sales, according to GameStop senior director of merchandising Eric Bright. “The Nintendo Switch is off to a start right now that it could possibly eclipse the Wii,” he said. “Initial sales on this have been phenomenal. I can’t give straight numbers, but I can say we’re seeing one of the highest attach rates of software and accessories to a device that we’ve seen in a long time.” Let’s hope this means that the Switch will be treated to a number of Pokémon games in the near future.
