Enterbrain CEO Hirokazu Hamamura expects Dragon Quest XI to outsell Pokémon Sun and Moon

Hirokazu Hamamura recently shared his expectations of Dragon Quest XI selling over five million units in Japan. During a recent developer’s seminar in Tokyo called “The Present Conditions and Prospects of the Game Industry,” the Enterbrain CEO went on to say how he expects the game to both Pokémon Sun and Moon (currently at about four million in Japan) and Final Fantasy XV (about one million in Japan). Hamamura added that with the eventual release of the Nintendo Switch version of the game, as well as the influx of new fans from popular mobile titles Dragon Quest of the Stars and Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Lite, he expects to see huge numbers.
