Pokémon GO players hatch 87 million Eggs during the first Easter-themed event Eggstravaganza

Pokémon GO players have managed to collectively hatch a whopping 87 million Pokémon Eggs during the first-ever Eggstravaganza. Developer Niantic confirmed this massive figure today, April 24, and congratulated players on the impressive feat via its social media pages. As part of the latest in-game event, a greater variety of Pokémon were found in 2 km Eggs. Players were also be rewarded with more Candy when any of their Eggs hatched. In addition, players earned double the Experience Points (XP) for all activities and Lucky Eggs were 50 percent off in the in-game shop for the duration of the event.
