Nintendo has revealed updated sales figures for its top Nintendo 3DS games, including all of the core Pokémon games released on the handheld. As of March 31, 2017, Pokémon X and Y are still the best-selling 3DS games with 16.11 million units sold. Pokémon Sun and Moon come in at second with 15.44 million units sold, and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire come in fourth with 13.74 million units sold. The 10 best-selling 3DS games are as follows:
- Pokémon X/Pokémon Y – 16.11 million
- Pokémon Sun/Pokémon Moon – 15.44 million
- Mario Kart 7 – 15.22 million
- Pokémon Omega Ruby/Pokémon Alpha Sapphire – 13.74 million
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 – 11.27 million
- Super Mario 3D Land – 11.27 million
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf – 10.97 million
- Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS – 8.72 million
- Tomodachi Life – 5.70 million
- Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon – 5.31 million
