Nintendo recently revealed updated sales figures for its top Nintendo 3DS games, including all of the core Pokémon games released on the handheld. As of March 31, 2017, Pokémon X and Y are still the best-selling 3DS games with 16.11 million units sold. Pokémon Sun and Moon come in at second with 15.44 million units sold, and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire come in fourth with 13.74 million units sold. These figures show that the 3DS Pokémon games have managed to sell/ship similar numbers to their Nintendo DS entries:
