New blatant Pokémon ripoff “Pocketown” appears on Google Play

Another blatant ripoff of the Pokémon video games has appeared on the Google Play store. It’s called “Pocketown” and is falsely posing as a Pokémon remake with a slew of assets that look like they were taken straight out of Pokémon in an attempt to attract customers. This ripoff’s product description from developer APKPure is as follows:

  1. Lol well i downloaded it for kicks and giggles. Let me tell you that its not a ripoff at all. Its some warrior game that looks cool if it was in english, since I cant read chinese.

      1. The funny part about this is I sent them an email asking about an english version of that game and they sent me an apk for the actual pokemon rip off. So it does exist but the pocketown adventure game on play store downloads that weird chinese fighter type game.
