Pokémon GO cheaters say rare Pokémon spawns are being hidden from them

It looks like a new security measure has been implemented in Pokémon GO that allegedly hides rare spawns from players who use unauthorized methods to find and catch Pokémon. Those affected are calling this a “shadowban,” meaning that they can be in the same exact area as other players but will only be able to view common spawns, such as Rattata and Pidgey.
