The Pokémon Company has announced that it will hold the World Premiere for Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! on July 6 at the Japan Expo 2017 event in Paris, France, ahead of its official opening in Japan in July 15. In addition to the first airing of the upcoming film, special guests Kunihiko Yuyama, the director of the movie, and Rica Matsumoto, the Japanese voice actor behind Ash Ketchum, will be in attendance.
