The 2017 Pokémon Regional Championships are heading across Australia and New Zealand this June. The Pokémon Company International is working with ESL Australia as the operator of the upcoming regional events. After the Pokémon International Championships in March, the Pokémon Regional Championships operating in June are the largest events for Australian and New Zealand trainers in terms of both attendance and Championship Point payouts. All players are welcome to participate; there are no qualifications or residency restrictions at any Regional Championships events. Pokémon video game players must bring their own system and a team that meets the competition guidelines.
