New Pokémon GO adverts have begun appearing in London to promote the immensely-popular mobile game. In addition to letting passersby know how they can download the mobile game, the ads promote Poké Ball throwing and catching Goldeen. Some fans are speculating that the ads are alluding to a London-based event, but developer Niantic has yet to make any official announcements regarding this. The ads’ texts are as follows:
- World leaders in financial services, the arts and Poké Ball throwing. GO London
- The streets aren’t paved with gold, but there are 114,342 Goldeen on the Loose. GO London
