Pokkén Tournament DX supports several play modes that make use of the Nintendo Switch console’s versatile hardware. It can be played on the TV, in tabletop mode or handheld mode – allowing you to take the game with you wherever you. Because of this aspect, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime believes that the upcoming fighting title will provide Nintendo Switch owners with fun playtime in various settings.
“With Nintendo Switch, people can play anytime, anywhere, with anyone,” Fils-Aime said. “Multiplayer games like Arms, Splatoon 2 and Pokkén Tournament DX are great fun to play in a variety of settings, whether it is on the couch next to family and friends, online, at local fan-run tournaments or at larger events.”
