Majority of Pokémon fans prefer the Fire-type starter over Water and Grass

As a way to celebrate World Emoji Day 2017, The Pokémon Company conducted a poll with three emoji that asked fans which is their favorite Pokémon type to choose when starting a Pokémon journey. The vast majority, 46 percent, said they prefer the Fire-type starter – while 34 percent favored Water-type starters and the remaining 20 percent for the Grass types. A total of 67,990 votes were counted as part of this poll via Twitter
