Video: Extended preview of the new Pokkén Tournament DX demo on Nintendo Switch

The recently-announced demo version for Pokkén Tournament DX will launch in the Nintendo eShop later today, August 23, at 9 p.m. PT / 12 a.m. ET on Nintendo Switch in North America. The European eShop will be receiving the same demo shortly after on August 24. However, all Nintendo Switch users can download the English version of the demo right now via the Japanese eShop, due to the console’s nature of being region-free.

The demo is restricted to only 15 matches, limiting the number of times users can partake in battles. It features three playable characters – Pikachu, Charizard and Empoleon – as well as two sets of support Pokémon: Snivy and Lapras or Reshiram and Cresselia.
