New Pokémon GO update announced for iOS and Android, versions 1.49.2 and 0.79.2

A new update is on its way to Pokémon GO, bringing the immensely-popular mobile game to versions 1.49.2 and 0.79.2 on iOS and Android, respectively. According to official release notes, this patch implements a number of bug fixes. Pokémon GO developer Niantic recently teased that highly-anticipated features, including Gen 3 Pokémon and PvP battling, are coming soon.
