As of November 8, 2017, the Miiverse service is no more. Those who try to access Miiverse on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U will be met with the error code 115-5004 along with a message that reads, “Thank you for using Miiverse. Miiverse service has ended.” However, users who requested to download their post history are now being sent their Miiverse archives from Nintendo via email along with the following message:
This email has been sent to you because a request for your Miiverse post history was submitted using the Nintendo Network ID linked to your Nintendo Account.
