Pokémon GO has officially been updated to version 0.85.2 for Android and 1.55.1 for iOS devices. According to the Pokémon GO development team at Niantic, this major update implements a weather icon that can be tapped to highlight which Pokémon types are more likely to appear in the surrounding area and will be affected by current weather conditions. Players in areas with less-than-ideal weather may be met with an Extreme Weather screen with the following warning message:
Pokémon seem to dislike these conditions. Weather conditions are potentially dangerous – be aware of your surroundings! Check your local weather service for details.
