About a year ago, the folks at Eurogamer reported on Pokémon Stars, an expanded version of Pokémon Sun and Moon that unnamed sources had claimed was pegged for release on Nintendo Switch this Christmas. According to Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips, Nintendo ultimately decided to opt to continue supporting the Nintendo 3DS with Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
