This year wasn’t as bad, but there was a brief period of instability on the Nintendo eShop – likely caused by an influx of Nintendo Switch systems connecting to the Nintendo Network and Nintendo eShop. It prompted Nintendo to apologize online. The network is now running as normal, though previously-confirmed maintenance scheduled for later today and tomorrow may affect some online gaming.
